|ApplicationsTrain Game Calc|
This is an old game with many names. Take a 4-digit number (usually from the carriage number of a train) and try to use mathematics to get it to 10. For example,
5412 can be solved as
5 + 4 - 1 + 2. The numbers don't need to be in the same order, and you can use any kind of 2-input mathematical operation that you like.
This calculator isn't designed to take the fun of getting solutions yourself, but rather whet the appetite of those searching for more answers. And hey, if you're completely stuck, maybe this can confirm that it's not just you.
Note: all answers are ignoring the order of operations. You should perform all operations from left to right, regardless.
This application currently only tests the following operations:
These operations were easier to implement, since they require two input numbers and generate a single output. Other operations require only a single input and will be added later. Such functions are logarithms, trig functions, factorials, square roots, and other exponents.
